Traffic Count Down Timers

We offer a wide range of countdown timers that are used as devices for controlling traffic. Countdown timers consists  of Digits which indicates second or minutes.A Count Down Timer can be used with pedestrian signal ( Red / Green)  with an added display that shows the countdown of the remaining crossing time.

 It can be also used with other signals like --

With Full RED/AMBER/GREEN --( Tells how much time remains to close the existing signal i.e Red /                                                                  amber/ Green respectively)

 The Green Count Down Timer is used with Green Signal ( i.e Pedestrian Green/ Full green)

The Red Count Down Timer is used with Red Signal ( i.e Pedestrian Red/ Full Red)

The Amber Count Down Timer is used with Amber Signal ( i.e With Amber Full)

It can be also used with Arrows  ( i,e Green/ Amber/Red Arrows) 

 

The countdown timers starts either at the beginning of the pedestrian phase. The timer continues counting down through the pedestrian clearance interval. At the end of the pedestrian clearance interval, the countdown device displays a zero and the "DON'T WALK" indication appers

This treatment is useful under the following conditions

• Pedestrian clearance interval greater than 15 seconds
• High pedestrian volumes
• High levels of vehicular traffic conflicting with pedestrians
• Presence of mobility-impaired pedestrians
• School zones
